We knew we were taking on a local business with a long history and a loyal community behind it, and we wanted to respect what made Mamma Rosa’s special in the first place. That’s why we made the decision to keep Mamma Rosa’s the way Burnie knows it. We continue to use the same ingredients, recipes and familiar way of making our pizzas as before, carrying on the flavours that generations of customers have grown up with. The ownership might be new, but the heart of Mamma Rosa’s - and the pizzas coming out of our kitchen - remains proudly familiar. For us, pizza is about much more than dinner. It’s the easy meal at the end of a long day, the Friday-night family tradition, a feed shared between friends or that favourite pizza you’ve been ordering for years. And being a local business means something to us. We’re proud to call Burnie home, and we’re incredibly grateful for the locals who continue to support us.
